Disc Seat Swing ReviewWe bought this swing for our 5-year-old and 11-year-old sons. They both love it! We hung it from a tree in our front yard. It is holding up quite nicely and getting even more use than I had expected! The plastic seat is very sturdy. I was a little worried about the rope giving the boys rope-burn, but the rope is nice and smooth and does not hurt their hands.
We had originally purchased this swing for my oldest, who has high-functioning autism. It is great for him because besides being able to spin, he is able to swing back and forth and round and round. It does take some coordination to stay on, which is helping build his core muscles as well as helping work on his balance. It is also a great place for him to go to when he becomes over-stimulated.
My five-year-old loves being able to fly around in circles, though it is harder for him to get it going very high on his own. (That is probably a good thing!) It was a great choice for both my boys as well as all of the neighborhood kids!Disc Seat Swing Overview
