Also, the 6inch part is intended to extend way beyond the fittings - so more drilling and reaching over any rafter/2x4 joists to attach (after the Pre-Drilling). The lock nuts are fine. The collar screws are basic and you may want to beef them up a bit depending on the load. And the only "swivel" is from right to left. Don't be deceived thinking you can just install these with ease. It requires a bit of planning. Go To the lumber store in your area and check out alternatives before buying these. They are strong and can work under specific uses. But, as I said, thinking they will go up without much activity is not what you're getting here.
