Daisy disk residential Disc seat Roped tree Swing ReviewSo this has been a hit with my kids all summer long! I bought 2 and do not regret it. The rope is really long and you can easily tie it to a tree if you don't have a swing set - which is what I did. After several months of use the rope is wearing well and not getting ragged. Anyone who has kids swings with the nylon rope knows that over time that rope gets frayed and is like little razor blades. My normal experience is it lasts a few months before you need to replace it or tape over it. The rope that came with these has done great. It has been out side in hot/cold and rain or shine and has not shown any signs of wear. I am sure it will need to be replaced at one time or another, but I am impressed at this one. The disk swing itself it loads of fun and easy for kids to get on. Mine were 6 & 4 (twins) and they had no problem. The kids in the area as young as 2 got on and held on with no problems. We did take one and create a knot about 1 foot above the disk to allow a better grip. Not because any thing was wrong with the rope or swing, but our kids like to be pushed high and "spun" around. So we wanted them to have a better grip. The weight limit is good and high, where most kids stuff is low.
If you have kids and they want a unique swing this is it. Again you don't have to have a swing set. It was easy to tie to a tree branch and fast set up to start the fun!Daisy disk residential Disc seat Roped tree Swing Overview
