Little Tikes Seek & Explore Expedition Climber ReviewI was really excited to get this for our soon-to-be two year old for the backyard. He generally loves to climb and we thought this would be endless entertainment throughout the summer. Not so much. He was very excited about it the first day or two, but after a week or so, it's almost as if we have to remind him it's there for him to play on. First, it's much smaller than it seems in the picture, so that is somewhat disappointing. The slide has a very abrupt curve at the bottom, so his feet hit the bottom of the slide and stop him before his bottom hits the end, which means he basically slides for about 8 inches! Also, it's just held together by screws in plastic, and at times it seems a tad less sturdy than I would have liked. Our little guy is a bit above average in size (27 lbs) and when he stands on the orange landing to climb up, you can see it bow in the center, so I'm not sure how it could handle a 6 year old, as stated. I'm also not sure how it will hold up in a move (we are a military family and move often) - I fear the stress on the plastic where the screws are may not withstand the summer from moving it weekly to mow the lawn. Otherwise, it was rather simple to put together by myself and took less than 30 minutes.
