Side Winder Slide - Green ReviewThe slide itself seems fine but I wish we had realised how tricky it would be to install before we bought it. Installation requires making up a wooden brace (2 'feet' with a horizontal cross bar) for supporting the slide midway down its length and also 2 long stakes for bracing it at the bottom. These are NOT provided with the slide. Then the brace and stakes need to be sunk a foot or more into the ground. Now, if you're like us, we don't know exactly where our irrigation lines and drains run. Typically, we broke a drain and an irrigation line whilst digging the required holes and then had to dig up half our back yard to repair this. The slide is still not installed but the irrigation lines have been repaired and rerouted.
