Fitness is Not an Exact Science ReviewFitness Is Not an Exact Science! is an empowering and informative look at the lifestyle changes required to become more physically fit. Christopher Pinckley describes his personal fitness journey with zest and humor, and provides informative advice to novice, beginner, and seasoned fitness experts alike.
This is a worthwhile read about the basics of fitness, especially if you are serious about improving your lifestyle through cardio and weight training, or find it hard to stay motivated with your exercise routine. I enjoyed reading his narrative prose and definitions found in Chapters 4 and 10. While the exercises Pinckley describes in the regiment involve mostly working-out with machines at the gym and weights, there are many routines that can be done at home. Although I'm a skeptic when it comes to gyms and machines, by the end of Fitness Is Not an Exact Science!, I became convinced of the benefits incurred by weight training. As a fitness beginner, I learned about the circuit method and intend to add weights to my routine. Overall it's a great guide that jars you out of hibernation and lets you discover the specifics of the fitness world. Pinckley is a great fitness coach and he writes from years of experience. Best of all, he addresses the multitude of variations between individuals and tailors his writing to those differences.Fitness is Not an Exact Science OverviewDo you ever feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information circulating around the media concerning the concept of health, fitness, and weight loss?
