2 oz. Chalk Ball for Gymnastics, Climbing, and Weight Lifting ReviewI'm not sure what type of fabric was used for this "chalk sock" but I only got to use mine three times at the climbing gym before it tore and spilled chalk inside my chalk bag. Normally this isn't a problem, however, my gym prohibits "loose" chalk and I got this chalk bag for the sole reason of keeping the chalk from flying everywhere.

American Athletic Hand Chalk 2oz Block ReviewI use the hand chalk with two of my workouts: one when I am doing deadlifts and the other when I am using kettlebells. When I am doing deadlifts, I appreciate the additional grip the chalk gives my hands on the bar.
