Boppy 5-in-1 Fun ReviewThis is a very creative invention! I wasn't sure how well the pillow would 'fit' or if it would be any better than a regular pillow, but it turned out to fit very comfortably and baby can lie easily on his side to nurse - my arms are free and don't get tired trying to hold him in the right position. The other use of the pillow is great with the toy attachments. Baby can sit comfortably in the pillow and bat at the toys dangling above him. Another great use is to put the baby face down laying over the pillow - it often helps him to burp after feeding, saving me having to hold and burp him. An all-round great product - I highly recommend it. I haven't had any problems with it.Boppy 5-in-1 Fun OverviewThis deluxe Boppy is better for playtime than ever, because an activity arch stocked with award-winning Sassy development toys has been added. Boppy 5-in-1 Fun keeps baby entertained as she works on important motor skills. So baby can play, lie down, and sit, all with the comfort and support of America's favorite nursing pillow. The bold contrasts of the black, white, and red fabrics help stimulate baby's visual development. Six Boppy toy links allow you to transfer toys, making it constantly new and interesting for baby. The gym's soft quilt features a conversion feature with attachment points so toys can be rearranged for laying and tummy-time play. When baby begins to crawl, the gym converts to a crawl-through play space. In crawl-through mode, your infant can play peek-a-boo through the soft mesh sides and parents can attach more toys for added fun.

Wonderworld Eco-Friendly Posting House Shape Sorter ReviewI bought this recently for my nine month old. I can't imagine why the packaging says age two.
I like the safe features (nontoxic, not made in China, double hinge on the lid so no pinched fingers) and the overall design (pieces are too small to be a choking hazard, six is a good number of shapes, shapes are all distinct, and the box aspect gives more open ended play value).
So far, this is only the second "toy" to really catch her eye. She likes to open the box to take out the shapes. She has put the shapes back in and also some little finger puppets. She laughs when the finger puppets poke their faces out of the holes. When she opens it all the way the hinge catches nicely so it stays open. When you put down the lid there is a second catch so it never slams down on little fingers. It makes a satisfying noise and she laughs at the bang. And then does it again looking at me for my reaction. My toddler has been using it as a dinosaur boat. It is nice that it has a life outside just shape sorting.
We had the lousy Melissa and Doug shape shorter for my first but it was really advanced play (so many similar shapes, bad box design) and recalled in Canada so I threw it away and found this one instead.

Infantino Play Time Activity Center ReviewInfantino Play Time Activity Center is for 3 months and up. It can be used for traveling (folds up easily) or at home. It is a great educational toy that uses your childs different senses like sound, sight, and texture. The Activity Center consists of four activity-packed sides with a peek-a-boo mirror, put-and-take bird's nest, large water pouch fish tank, and peek-and-see leaves. It is a wonderful toy whether your child is doing tummy time or seated play.
The only thing that I don't like about this toy is the backings of the birds (from the put-and-take bird's nest) are made out of felt. After pulling the birds off of the Velcro so many times, it can rip or thin out.Infantino Play Time Activity Center OverviewTummy time is great exercise for babies. Now, baby can get his/her exercise while exploring all the new things to do and see with the Tummy Time Activity Center. This includes four activity-packed sides with a large peek-a-boo mirror, put-and-take bird's nest large water pouch fish tank and peek-and-see leaves. As your baby grow's, so will the activity center, as it is great for seated play as well.

Lamaze Early Development Toy, Olivia the Owl ReviewI love owls and I love Olivia. I bought this for my son before he was born and started giving it to him around 2 1/2 months old. He loves the owl. I can hand this to him and he will play with it or I have strapped it to his stroller for on the go trips and hung it from his play gym. He consistant goes to this toy and it is in his top 3 favorite small toys. Colors are great, very true to image. The dangling green leaf is a teether, it also has a dangling mirror. He will grab any of the dangling items but most often when reaching up for it grabs onto the branch the owl sits on. I like that it has multiple areas for his grasp.Lamaze Early Development Toy, Olivia the Owl OverviewLamaze Olivia the OwlThe latest Play and Grow friend Olivia the Owl features an activity mirror mobile squeaker crinkle wings rattle and leaf teether.90 Day Limited WarrantyProduct Dimensions 5.00" x 4.00" x 11.00" / 0.20l

Activity Play Gym ReviewMy little one is 2.5 months old and loves this gym already. We have the Fisher Price Under Water Activity Gym also. This is a small comparison of the two.
1. The FP Gym connects with velcro, this one links the toys down. She bats at the toys pretty hard and with the FP one we are afraid because of the velcro that they will fall on her, this one does not have that problem.
2. Both have similar toys...one with balls in it, a mirror, and a basic toy. All of which I think are important for learning.
3. The FP turns into a tunnel, obviously this does not but it is decently structured and won't "pop out" like the FP does in some reviews.
4. The toys on this one are able to vary at different heights as our little one grows. The FP one is static because of the velcro link.
5. Great value for money on this one, I like all the colors and functionality of the toys and my child does too.
I would recommend this one highly and also compare what you want based on your needs to other play gyms. They all have different pros and cons.
Update: 9/25/10 This one is absolutely wonderful. We hang her favorite toys from the rings (can't do this with the velcro one) and we drag it with us everywhere we go. It isn't as portable as others but it's worth it. She also tries to grab the toys with her feet, it's a great height and we adjust toys by taking off or adding on the connecting rings.Join Amazon Mom: [...]Activity Play Gym Overview
