Lamaze Tummy Time Air Play Mat ReviewMy son loves this tummy time mat. My 5 month old (true gestational age 4 months) really really dispizes tummy time. He had hardlly rolled over and was behind because he cried every time I tried to give him time on his tummy. After two weeks with this toy he has really developed his muscles and is rolling over and lifting up onto his elbows and knees! He laughs and smiles at him self in the mirror which by the way is a awesome mirror. It is nice and cleat and not distorted like some other baby mirrors and it's the right Hightower for the tummy prop that comes with mat. The tummy prop is firm but still very flexible and comfortable for baby.My son wiggles off of it accsionally but he lands on the plush mat so no big deal! The two toys are awesome! The corn is a crinkle toy and the tractor is a nice gummy teether! My son enjoys both! With his mat I get about 15 minutes of tummy time! No complaints both my son and I love it. SoftSpot Portable Play Mat ReviewThis is my #1 must-have item for baby. We live overseas where the floors are predominantly tile/marble. I was on the lookout for a cushy solution for my wobbly sitting, tummy time hating 3 month old. The SoftSpot has provided a safe, comfortable area for baby to play, take the occasional nap, and practice new tricks like sitting/rolling/creeping.
Design: Easy to fold/store, easy to take to play group, easy to clean (also the cover, sold separately, has remained soft despite many, many washings), good cushion even for harder falls, firm enough to learn how to creep/crawl.
For mom: Freedom! When I sit baby down on SoftSpot (supported with boppy pillow) I know she is safe, comfortable and happy. I am freed up from always being an arms length away to catch any falls. We recently took it on vacation with us and it was a godsend. I could enjoy sitting at the "adult" table without a fussing baby in my lap because she was happily situated right next to us on the floor playing away.
For baby: She knows that this is "her" place so when we move locations, she is on familiar ground so to speak. Also, it's nice solution for spending time outside, especially if there is little green space. When there is green space, it's nice to have a portable way to put her in a shady spot or keep her comfortably close to us.
The only downside is the cost. I think a lot of families would love this item but find it cost prohibitive. I probably would not have considered spending so much if our floors weren't so hard and unforgiving.SoftSpot Portable Play Mat Overview

Learning Steps Activity Gym ReviewI have not seen any other product on the market with this type of design that really encourages baby to pull up to standing. I got this when she was 7 months old and just trying to pull up to standing. She is now 8 months and can pull to standing and take a couple of steps with this item. Like many items that help baby pull to standing it will tip over if you don't help hold one end down. However, you'd be there anyway to keep baby from falling so it's okay. I placed mine with one end next to a mirror so she could walk toward the baby in the mirror which has worked very well. The hand grips on the support rails are very useful. The buttons on tops that trigger the music are lots of fun for her. But the disc shaped toys that dangle down are annoying. They trigger a song every time they swing forward and another song when they swing backward so you wind up hearing a chaotic melody comprised only of the first couple notes of each song. It is important to note that each disc toy has 2 small screws in it which don't appear to be needed since they quickly fell out of one of the discs but the disc stayed together and I can't even pull it apart. I suggest just taking them out right from the start. For the price this item is great. She spends about 2 hours a day playing with this and wears herself out.Learning Steps Activity Gym OverviewKeep Baby active and encourage his developing senses with this fun-filled, grow-with-me activity gym. It features three different modes for each development stage. In Gym Mode, Baby can lie on the mat and bat at objects above, activating lights and sounds. Little ones can crawl under the supports, turning on lights and sounds in Tunnel Mode. Walk Mode encourages tots to walk as they support themselves with the rails. Their tiny touch triggers objects on the rockers to light up and make noises. Arms remove for flat storage. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, not included. Measures 23.5"H x 18"L x 20.75"H.

It is a great educational toy that uses your childs different senses like sound, sight, and texture. The Activity Center consists of four activity-packed sides with a peek-a-boo mirror, put-and-take bird's nest, large water pouch fish tank, and peek-and-see leaves. It is a wonderful toy whether your child is doing tummy time or seated play.
The only thing that I don't like about this toy is the backings of the birds (from the put-and-take bird's nest) are made out of felt.
