Kickin Bobbin™ Gym ReviewWhen my son kept kicking the snot out of the Happy Hippo baby gym Infantino Hippo Gym and sending the toys and everything shooting across the room, we wanted something more sturdy. He kicked the snot out of this one and it has lived to tell the tale. We didn't get the video of him kicking it (I wish we had), but here is one of him when he first sat up. We put the boppy behind him in case he fell, which he did... We love this, but just had to pack it up (he's 9 months now) because now he crawls and it got boring to him. I will say that the previous post had issues with their kid not being able to set the sounds off, well there are two sound settings. One for only hitting the nose and one for movement. If he had it set on the movement, anything would set it off, including kicking it. Have fun!!!!Kickin Bobbin™ Gym OverviewYears of fun, interactive play lie ahead for your little one, from infancy through toddlerhood. The Kickin' Bobbin' Gym converts from a stimulating baby gym to an engaging toddler playground. Babies can watch the friendly bear face bob back and forth, rewarding baby's kicks with movement, music, lights and sounds. As baby grows, simply convert the gym to a sit-and-play activity center. Your child will be intrigued with repositionable toys, bat-at dangling pieces, and colorful balls that roll around and drop down. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included). Measures 28"L x 32"W x 21"H.

Farmyard Activity Mat ReviewI absolutely LOVE our Skip Hop Activity Mat and so does our 8 week old son. When shopping for baby playmats, I narrowed it down between the Boppy Entertain Me Play Gym and the Skip Hop and I am glad I chose this. What I love most about this product is it's beautiful, modern and simple design, compared to the overly busy playmats available on the market. Even the animals have a distinct, modern look that both grown-up and children alike can enjoy. This playmat looks great in our modern home and modern nursery.
Our 8 week old son first looked at the pig and cooed, then took a liking to the cow that has a mirror on it and he just stared and cooed with more delight. All the hanging animals have a fun developmental and interactive feature. The sheep plays a musical song when pressed, the cow has a mirror, the rabbit is attached to a rattle and the pig has a whimsical chime. Even the mat itself has developmental play pieces for baby to discover - the cow squeaks, the duck has a crinkly wing and the rabbit has a velcro carrot that rattles. It also comes with a mini pillow for tummy time which we have used, but it is pretty small and looks like it will get outgrown quickly. It's perfect for now though. The mat is a nice sized square and feels like a well-made quilt.
It is a stylish playmat for design-conscious parents and a functional/interactive developmental toy for babies.Farmyard Activity Mat OverviewThere's so much to do on the farm with the Funky Farmyard Activity Play Mat by Skip Hop! Skip Hop's whimsical, graphic activity play mat has soft arches and a matching quilted tummy time pillow. 12 easy to hang loops and 5 hanging toys offer irresistible mulit-sensory play for baby at every stage of development. Plus textures and squeaky sounds on the mat surface add to the fun!

Infantino Travel Gym ReviewThis video shows the bar and how easily it can pull out.
This toy is cute and colorful and my son liked it immediately. He started to grab at the toys and kick and pull. He's 4 1/2 months.
HOWEVER, I would never let him play with this toy if I wasn't around. He very easily pulled the bar out as nothing holds it in place. In addition, the orange plastic pieces are a bit cheap and snap out of place also. I am debating on returning mine because the idea was to have a toy that would entertain him without me having to sit there and watch. I would not walk away because the plastic toys could hit him in the head when the bar pops out. On the packaging it says that you should keep the bar at a distance so that your child can not mouth the toys, however, our son tugged on one of the links until he got it to his mouth (the bar is very flexible). And a minor point would be that for some reason the link toys do not stay linked very well and within seconds they were unlinked and on the floor.
