Swing Baby Toddler S-13R includes (front Chain S-11 $3.49 Value) Half Bucket Seat Swing2 X H-55 Coated Chain 66" inch ReviewMy daughter nearly somersaulted over and fell out when she got excited and clapped her hands. (The only reason she didn't is because we were right there to catch her). This swing is NOT a good idea for a young toddler. Maybe it would work for an older child but I believe they are way off on the age range given on the web site.Swing Baby Toddler S-13R includes (front Chain S-11 $3.49 Value) Half Bucket Seat Swing2 X H-55 Coated Chain 66" inch Overview

Adventure Playsets Patriot Wooden Swing Set ReviewThis was an Easter gift for our sons; we had it shipped early with the hopes of having it up for Easter Morning...well, it is two days after Easter and we are still working on putting it together. Granted we have not been working around the clock to get it assembled, but the time we have put into it has been dedicated more to finding the parts than to building the playset. Some of the wood is not labeled other pieces are smudged and or faintly stamped which makes locating the pieces difficult not to mention the confusing way the parts are packaged. You have to look at all three shipping papers to make sure some of the pieces are not in multiple boxes. So much time is spent searching! I was also disappointed in the quality of wood. We have found several pieces chipped and splintered which is frustrating considering the price you pay for the product. I think the playset will be lots of fun once we get it assembled. Our oldest is having fun climbing in and around the main structure already, but seriously will it ever be completed!?Adventure Playsets Patriot Wooden Swing Set Overview

Rigid Swing Seat ReviewI have been redoing our swing set, upgrading the seats and chains. I only like rigid seats. Perhaps I am old fashioned or used to a flat seat, but the playground flexi-seats just aren't comfortable. I have purchased two other plastic, rigid swing seats both were good but more expensive . This one is by far the least expensive. It is for small kids mostly (Rigid Swing Seat Overview

Belted Toddler Swing with Rope ReviewJust got this seat, we were so excited to get it. I ordered this specific one because it has the belt across the swing with a snap clip. Well the one they sent us has the chain across the seat!!! NOT a belt like pictured. BEWARE!! The ropes are also about 6 feet long, I have to tie it in a knot 3 times to get it to the right height. You cannot adjust the ropes either! The chain across the seat is really long too, it hangs down and is not tight like in the picture, I have to loop it through and hook it to the chain. I cant even secure it to the hook they have because it is so long. If it was sent as pictured it would be a great seat! It still works but I have to rig it and that makes me pretty mad! I would reccommend getting the seat with a chain not a rope since they are going to send you one with a chain across the seat anyways!Belted Toddler Swing with Rope Overview

Samson Series-Sport Center Silver ReviewWe purchased this swing set for our 7-year-old. It is very sturdy for older children. However, it was a pain to put together. Took about half a day and we still have a couple bolts we can not fit in. Called the company and never got a return call. The only reason we did not take it apart and take it back to the store is because we paid about $250 less than listed here and it is really a sturdy swing set. My son can go high and it doesn't move (we do not have the anchors in yet). This is a great swing set if you have a lot of patience putting it together.

Asheville Wood Complete Ready-to-Assemble Swing Set Kit ReviewThe swing set is beautiful when completed. But has a major flaw. The directions specify that pre-drilling is not required, yet the wood split on every screw inserted. What kind of wood is this? What kind of instructions? Now that it's complete can I trust its integrity? After all I want my child to use it. No I would not, after spending so much money recommend this set to a friend (or even an enemy.)Asheville Wood Complete Ready-to-Assemble Swing Set Kit OverviewThe Swing-N-Slide Asheville wood ready-to-assemble outdoor play set kit is designed for families that want everything in the box. Discovery Swing Set ReviewI ageree with the other review. I tried to order this when it said in stock and then received an email the next day saying that it wasn't in stock. The kicker is when you look on any other site to order it the cost is about $150 more than Amazon. Seems like they lure you in for a lower price here than make you pay more somewhere else to get it. I am surprised Amazon hasn't removed this seller from there listings.Discovery Swing Set Overview

Lifetime Deluxe Freestanding A-Frame Swing Set (Earthtone) ReviewI purchased this swing set because it was advertised as "heavy duty," and indeed it is - much more than the flimsy models you get at WalMart, etc. Also, the two previous backyard sets were made of wood and in the Florida weather, they lasted less than 8 years each. This set is heavy as advertised and takes a lot of muscle to horse the pieces around to get it put together. I'm 73 years old and in relatively good shape, but trying to get some of the holes lined up for the bolts was a challenge. Still, everything worked fine and all hardware was present and accounted for.
The only quibble I have with the set is the video advertising. It showed kids swinging on this set without anchors of any kind and indicated that the set was more or less portable and could be moved around. WRONG! When you have two kids swinging vigorously on the set it begins to buck up on its hind legs then front. Obviously in need of anchoring. I first placed 4 12-inch screw anchors into the ground and even so, the legs still pulled an inch or so from the ground when swinging high. So, I removed them and re-installed 30-in screw anchors - which did the job. Now the swing set doesn't "buck" or "walk," but stays all four legs firmly on the ground.
I also found out through experimentation, that you can attach one of those infant bucket seats from swing sets by putting its hooks through the chain just below the swinging acrobatic bar in the middle and it makes a wonderful third swing for a small child and is easily removed when kids want to use the acrobat bar and handles.
With all the rain we get, I'm hoping it will live up to its "no rust" adversiting. Otherwise, I have four granddaughters, their mother, and their grandmother (my wife) who are very pleased with this swing set, so that makes me pleased as well.Lifetime Deluxe Freestanding A-Frame Swing Set (Earthtone) Overview

Sierra Wooden Swing Set ReviewThis playset was great for the price offered. The wood seems to be of good quality and we receicved all the parts necessary for construction. It took several days, but my husband constructed this by himself, you really need to take the time to get organized before you start. The picnic table portion seems to be a bit of waste because it is pretty cramped under there and I don't think my kids will use it much. I wish the playset itself was a bit taller. Overall my kids, 5 and 1 will get every bit of our moneys worth out of it. I would recommend this setSierra Wooden Swing Set Overview

Yukon Wood Complete Ready-to-Assemble Swing Set Kit ReviewI live in the Caribbean and a friend purchased this for my three year old son. It was well packaged with easy to follow instructions. Not complicated but it does help if you have basic carpentry skills. I was very impressed with the quality of the hardware and lumber- and should last for many years. Takes a little bit longer than stated to assembly but, once set it is very sturdy. I gave the swings a try and my 200lb wweight does not shake or move the structure. Ensure that the ground is level and it is advisable to use the smallest stone chips/gravel as a base before you construct. This ensure that rain water drains away and provides an everyday surface- no mud to worry about if it rains. I highly recommend this product and the company offers accessories to enhance the basic set.The only problem is getting my son off the set at the end of the day!Yukon Wood Complete Ready-to-Assemble Swing Set Kit OverviewThis Yukon II playground system construction kit comes with all the pieces and instructions you need for fast assembly, poly-coated lumber included. An 8ft high summit slide, climbing rocks, and two belted swings and one disc swing will provide countless hours of playground fun for your kids. This playset also includes an eleven sq. foot deck with a shaded canopy for when it gets too hot out.Fully-illustrated plans and a DVD with installation tips come with every playground kit, to make setup even easier.

Little Tikes Clubhouse Swing Set ReviewRead all the other reviews, on Amazon, Toys R Us and the Little Tikes site, before purchasing Little Tikes Clubhouse Swingset via Amazon. It was in stock, shipped promptly, qualified for free shipping (saved over $90!!!), arrived in good condition and had all the parts -- nothing missing. My step-son-in-law is very handy & logical, and got it together in one afternoon, and our 1 1/2 year old grandson loves it!
From reading the other reviews about how small it is once it's up, I was concerned that we would find the same thing. However it's pretty much the size that you'd expect if you take a good look at the promotional photos, and from the pictures that we've been sent, it should be good for at least 3 - 4 more years, and only outgrown at kindergarten age. Then they can sell it (if cared for, the sets retain good resale value)!
Very happy with the purchase!Little Tikes Clubhouse Swing Set OverviewA backyard swing set with built in playhouse and sliding board! Kids will get years of enjoyment from this fun and durable swing set. Climb to the platform two different ways - slide down and do it again! This outdoor play set turns your backyard into a playground! The Clubhouse Swingset is designed for hours of backyard fun. Know that your kids are safe playing in durable clubhouse & sturdy swingset from Little Tikes.

Kettler Deluxe 4 Child Multiplay Swingset ReviewI bought this for my 1 year old grandson. I looked everywhere for a simple sturdy swing frame that we could put a baby swing on that would last him until he's older. The other small swingsets are flimsy. I feel it's worth the price & has other things you can buy separately as the child gets older. Read description carefully. It only comes with the 2 swings, not the glider.Kettler Deluxe 4 Child Multiplay Swingset OverviewBring the park to your backyard with the Kettler multiplay swingset. Built for up to four kids, the swingset will make your home the life of the neighborhood. The swingset comes with two board swings just like the ones you knew and loved as a kid, along with a single open station that accommodates a separately sold Kettler accessory. Options for the open station include a Kettler Gondola, Surfboard, or Glider, each of which supports two kids for maximum swinging fun. The swingset itself is extremely sturdy, with a high-carbon steel frame and a fade- and rust-resistant polyester powder-coated finish. And to keep children safe during play, the swingset includes tough ground anchors. The swingset measures 126 by 85 by 78.5 inches (W x H x D).

Gorilla Playsets Outing III Playground System ReviewI spent several months researching the ideal swing set and even contemplated building my own. My wife talked me into the Congo III after she saw it go on sale.
First off - wow, I am so glad I didn't attempt to build my own. This is a smaller set and it still took about 24 man hours to assemble. It is also rock solid. I could not have built something similar from scratch at the price Costco was offering it for (even at full retail).
A lot of the research I did suggested that big box retailers only offered shoddy designs with cheap materials - but the quality of wood was amazing. Very few knots in the wood - and very straight.
There are a few misgivings I have about this particular swingset.
1) The stain/sealant applied to the wood is very sparse and rubs off easily. I spent 2-3 hours applying my own coat of sealant after assembly.
2) The torque nuts had to be machined with a Dremel tool in order to fit all of the screw heads. This was unfortunate and resulted in an hour or so of wasted time.
3) The kit was missing a torque nut (which I had to run down to Ace Hardware to buy a replacement for). This, however, was the only missing piece.
4) For the larger screws the instructions fail to suggest that you pre-drill a starter hole. Failure to do this will cause the wood to crack (bad).Gorilla Playsets Outing III Playground System Overview

Kettler Deluxe Single Swing ReviewI have 2 of these and they are awesome. Kettler makes quality sets, easy to assemble. I bought another set at toys r us that was very difficult to put together hundreds of bolts and pieces. needless to say I took it back. This set was set up in about 15 minuets and had well fitting parts. Very sturdy and durable. I would recommend anything built by Kettler.Kettler Deluxe Single Swing OverviewKeep your little one entertained with this Kettler Deluxe Single Seat Swing Set. This swing set is made with a fade- and rust-resistant powder coat finish to ensure years of use. The high-impact, blow-molded board seat can be replaced with any Kettler swing set accessory (sold separately). Also included are a board swing and ground anchors. The swing set measures 85 x 78.5 x 68 inches (H x W x L) and weighs 45 pounds. The recommended frame capacity is 150 pounds and the recommended age for use is 3 years and up.
