Gymnic / Rody Inflatable Hopping Horse, Baby Pink ReviewNot much to complain or rave about here. It's perfect for our slightly below average sized 2 year old. Pretty stable, though she can get it rocking if she wants to. Holds up well when her big sister (4 yrs) rides it too. A bit on the expensive side for a hop toy, but it's perfectly suited to the youngest set...Gymnic / Rody Inflatable Hopping Horse, Baby Pink Overview

Gymnic Rody Horse ReviewOur son has been playing with his Rody since he got it when he was almost 2. He's always been particularly active and he took to it immediately. It's now more than a year and a half later and, while other toys and playthings have gone in and out of fashion, Rody is still his favorite with no sign of waning.
I can't believe how durable this thing is! Our son rides it HARD indoors and out, but Rody can certainly take a licking. It's so great to see a toy last these days.
It's also terrific for stimulating creative play--our son the cowboy has ridden his trusty horse Rody on many an exciting adventure. There was also the barn he built for Rody out of an old box, where Rody slept for a few weeks after we put him to bed each night. And during Christmastime, Rody was a reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh.
And it's incredible exercise too! He just looks like he's having so much fun on it. Our younger son is 16 months and has already started eyeballing Rody and trying to get on it. We'd better get a second one soon to avoid World War III in our house. I really can't recommend this toy enough. It's safe and fun and good for your kid. In these days when it seems that every toy is battery operated and obnoxious, nothing beats Rody for some good, old-fashioned fun. As a parent of 2 young children, and a VERY discriminating toy shopper, I'm delighted to recommend Rody whole-heartedly.Gymnic Rody Horse Overview

VTech Jungle Gym Monkey Moves Smart Seat ReviewNormally Vtech makes toys that are educational and fun to use. This one is a big dud. First of all, the rowing. The seat moves MAYBE three inches, I think more like two. It's hard to do any rowing, even for a little one, with a seat that moves such a small amount. The handle bars do move back and forth, but without a seat that moves well with it, the whole front end of the toy ends up rocking back and forth, which I think will break in time. The toy says it is for 18+ months, but again the position of the seat and the distance it will row makes this toy only useful for kids over three feet tall. When my daughter sits on the seat she cannot reach the foot pedals at the front of it. My son, whose feet do touch, is three years old and has absolutely no interest in it. As for educational, it says three colors, three fruits and counts to three. I'm not impressed.VTech Jungle Gym Monkey Moves Smart Seat OverviewGet ready to monkey around with the Jungle Gym Monkey Moves Smart Seat! This cute little monkey loves to move his arms up and down -- the more they move, the more your child learns. Rewards active play with fun melodies, animal sounds and dancing lights. Vtech - 3-in-1 Learning Zebra Scooter ReviewGrandma and Grandpa delivered the Zebra Scooter to our 28-month-old grandson this past weekend. I (Grandpa) could hardly put it together since he was so excited about the scooter. Would the excitement last? After screwing on the wheel and securing the seat, he was off! He rode it around the house and outside. We took it to the park and he rode down the hill. He kept saying 'I love this'. And he certainly proved that. The scooter is a 'cute' design.... I think it looks more like a cow. It is well-made, and did not scratch or mar the wood floors. Technologically, it was more advanced than I thought it would be. There are 3 different attachments that plug in to the top of the zebra head: a compass, flashlight, and walkie-talkie. These attachments will 'program' the toy to give different responses when the lighted buttons are pushed. Yes, this toy does speak and play music. The parents were going to put some tape over the speaker to mute it, but I didn't find the sounds intrusive, even while we watched football on TV. The speaker has a loud and soft setting, and the music and voices are pleasant enough. I didn't get a chance to listen to all the messages, because our grandson 'claimed' this toy and was energized by it. The 3 different modes of the scooter are really inventive. The basic, seat-down position is his favorite, as he can scoot around all day on it that way. The seat can be raised a bit for another position, which is used to push the scooter. He was also able to sit on it in this mode, sort of like an Easy Rider position. The third position is the standup scooter. He is a bit young for this, but took the challenge, and managed to scoot around with some help. His Mom and Dad said the toy was a hit, and we got our share of 'I love you's' from our grandson.
Congrats to V Tech for making a neat toy for young kids. This is a perfect gift that should get a lot of use.Vtech - 3-in-1 Learning Zebra Scooter Overview

Inflatable 'Rody Horse' Children's Ride-On Rocking Horse: Color is Lime Green ReviewWe bought Rody for our granddaughter for Christmas when she was two. Nearly every day she's been on it. At first, it was just fun to bounce around. Now, she puts on a hat and carries a purse and "goes to town for groceries," etc. Our older granddaughter who is now nine has even bounced around on it with no ill effects to the toy. I'm going to hate to see him go, but she is four and it's getting a little too short for her longer legs. Guess we'll have to buy a hoparoo or some such to replace it. We'll save this one, not sell it! Really worth the money. VickieInflatable 'Rody Horse' Children's Ride-On Rocking Horse: Color is Lime Green Overview
